Stream Crossing on the Shuckstack Loop

[JPEG IMAGE] When hiking in the Smokies, sometimes you have to get your feet wet. This overnight hike followed the Shuckstack loop, beginning near Fontana Dam and eventually meeting the AT near Shuckstack fire tower, which overlooks the lake. A forest fire had burned many slopes of Shuckstack shortly before this hike. Several ancient rusted cars can be seen along the trail in this part of the Smokies.
