LeConte Lodge

LeConte Lodge, the only hotel inside the Smoky Mountain National Park, sits atop Mt. LeConte, and can be reached only by hiking at least four and a half miles up the steep Alum Cave trail, or one of the longer alternative routes. This is the dining hall. Llamas bring supplies up the Trillium Gap trail. A shelter is also available on Mt. LeConte. It is free, but you must cook your own meals. Either way, advance reservations are required.
