Center for Regional Studies Date: Wed, 15 Dec 1993 03:00:28 GMT oak3489@ritvax.isc.rit.edu (KOLEJLI) asked: [KOLEJLI] Mr. David Davidian, [KOLEJLI] where the hell did you get the idea that sera@zuma was a Turkish [KOLEJLI] government rep.? He might be a Turk Is Rep. but that's another story. 1) In 1988, when we first read of Hasan Mutlu, the contents of those postings corresponded with the subjects of a Radio Turkey (TRT) series aired at the same time called the "Armenian File". Not only did the subject and content of the Mutlu postings correspond with those of each installment on the Turkish short-wave broadcasts, but we predicted what the next subject would be aired on Radio Turkey, by reading Mutlu's postings AHEAD OF TIME! Yes, we first read the topic on UseNet THEN heard it on Radio Turkey! Well, if this is coincidence, try this, 2) In May of 1991, when the Turkish Ambassador to the USSR was in Armenia, the Turkish government ordered all anti-Armenian propaganda stopped until business was completed in Armenia. Yes, the postings by Mutlu stopped as well! When the ban was lifted, Mutlu re-appeared! 3a) When system administrators were giving the Cosar-Mutlu-Argic team an ultimatum regarding the use of UseNet as a huge dumping ground for propaganda, especially in newsgroups where it does not belong, Mr. Cosar claimed that he would "call the Turkish secret service" on those threatening to cut one of their news feed. 3b) When a certain Greek was giving Cosar (the System Administrator at zuma) a hard time, regarding a meeting at a restaurant, the Greek alluded a group of Turkish agents who followed him to a nearby, but wrong restaurant, and were faked out by the Greek guy having slipped out the back door. The account was posted on UseNet a few years ago. 4) Have a non-Turk go to the nearest Turkish consulate and ask for a visa to enter Turkey. When asked for a name say David Davidian. Watch what happens. I am basing this on another Armenian who was named David Davidian, who inquired at the LA Turkish consulate, two years ago. 5) There are specific items posted by Cosar-Mutlu-Argic team that have their origins in the depths of Turkish government propaganda network. I know this for I have some of the same items with the same spelling errors in the same places.
