This is the schedule for the spring 2003 term of Online Astronomy 162.
The details are subject to change. You should read the chapters following
the schedule shown on this page. Every other week, you will have a proctored
quiz on the material. Please refer to this page often, as it will
be updated throughout the course, as needed.

The Midterm and Final Exam will each be worth 25% of the final grade,
The proctored quizzes are worth 25% total. The lab counts 25%.
There will be no makeup exams, except in the case of approved
schedule conflicts with other courses. You will have opportunities to earn
extra credit, however.
You should especially be sure
to take advantage of the sky viewing sessions.
A Minimum of 50% credit is required to pass the course, with at least 65% of the lab credit, and no lab absence which has not been made up.
