ATLAS toroidal magnets superimposed on Tibetan Wheel of Life

I am a member of the Physics Department at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, in Charleston, SC. My research interests are in the field of elementary particle theory and phenomenology. This work, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, is related to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. The largest particle collider ever constructed, the LHC will provide insight into the physics that lies a million times beyond nuclear energy scales.
