Lost World, Waitomo

[JPEG IMAGE] The Lost World is a 300 foot pit in the middle of a sheep field near Waitomo, New Zealand. You can rappel into the cave on guided trips of either half-day or full-day length. The full-day trips are preceeded with a half day of rappeling instruction. See my journal entry on the Gruesome Twosome, which combines the half-day (dry) trip with a wet trip through the Haggis Honking Holes.
