This canyoning trip was a lot of fun. We rappeled, climbed, slid and jumped
down a steep, narrow canyon near Wanaka. Here, we had climbed across a rope to
an overhanging boulder above a waterfall called "the Gurgler", and then
rappeled down the rope, splashing into the pool over a hundred feet below.
