Snake man in Patan
This man attracted quite a crowd of school children by shouting and brandishing a cobra in Patan's Durbar Square. (11/18/94)

Pashupatinath
Pashupatinath is the most important Hindu temple in Kathmandu. Most of it is closed to foreigners. People come to the hospice here to die and be cremated by the river. (12/5/94)

[bodhnath]
Bodhnath
Bodhnath is the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. This ancient site is surrounded by numerous monasteries. This part of Kathmandu can be seen in the recent film The Little Buddha. (12/5/94)
