- Scott on Isla Suriqui, Lake Titicaca
- Before going to our Condoriri camp, we took a boat ride on Lake Titicaca to Isla Suriqui, where hoards of children tried to sell us small models of the reed boats the island is known for. This is Scott, after buying a small reed llama from one of them. Of course, now the llama needs a boat. Photo by Terry Cummins.

- Tihuanaco Ruins
- I stayed an extra day after the rest of the group left, and visited the Tihuanaco ruins on the Altiplano near La Paz. The site was occupied from around 600 BC, with the major structures being built around 700 AD.
