Hippos in Kazinga Channel

This group of hippos, including a baby, was seen on the Kazinga Channel between Lake Edward and Lake George in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Hippos were the most common animals seen on the boat ride along this channel. We saw elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, and many birds as well. (2/19/97)
