Chimp Island in Queen Elizabeth National Park is used as a home for chimpanzees who were orphaned by poachers. Boats take visitors to a platform near the island where they can view the chimps as they come down to be fed. There are no other animals on the island. Chimps can bee seen in a more natural environment at Kabale Forest, but that requires some luck.
