Kitandara Lake

[JPEG IMAGE] After climbing Margherita, we descended to Kitandara Hut, on the shore of one of the Kitandara Lakes, seen here from above through some giant groundsel trees common in the Rwenzories. It was a lush and beautiful spot, but cold, at over 13,000 feet elevation. (2/13/97)
