Freshfield Pass

The steep climb to Freshfield Pass begins just behind Kitandara Hut. It is one of the more difficult climbs of the circuit, but the views at the top are spectacular. Lobelia grow in the foreground, and Mt. Luigi di Savoia is seen in the distance. (2/14/97)
