Joel on Lower Bigo Bog

Crossing the Bigo Bogs can be one of the most arduous parts of the circuit in wet weather. It was not difficult when I was there, because I went during the dry season. I never needed the high rubber boots I brought for crossing the bogs, and eventually gave them to my guide Joel, who is seen in this picture. (2/11/97)
