A Street in Stone Town

[JPEG IMAGE] Stone Town in Zanzibar is a wonderful maze of narrow streets. It took me quite a while to be able to quickly find my way back to my hotel, Pyramid Inn, in the heart of it. There have been some incidents of muggings lately, but mostly it is reasonably safe to wander around, at least during the day. (3/9/97)
