Spice Tour: Solomon and a Jackfruit

[JPEG IMAGE] Zanzibar grows a wide variety of spices and fruit, and supplies around 90% of the world's cloves. Spice tours are popular. I took Solomon's spice tour. Here he is showing us a jackfruit, which we could also sample later. "Follow Solomon to see other things", he would say at each stop. (3/8/97)
